Barasingha Hand Beaded · One of One

Barasingha, shaped as a presence. Hand beaded in glass, pipes, cotton threads, springs, and custom buttons. Each bead placed by hand over sixty days in the studio.

A form on butter coloured heritage textile. Following our collected work Gudda, the anthropomorphic bull, Barasingha begins to breathe in our studio. Both ask if cloth can be a character that lives beyond wear.
