The Studio
Cloth, Image, Ornamentation, And Private Keeping.
Garlic Moon works across embroidered textile studies, archival imagery, hand craft, and collector led records.
A Studio Built Around Image And Cloth
The work often begins with a photograph, a landscape, a remembered surface, or a textile found with its own quiet history. These references are studied slowly before they enter cloth.
Through embroidery, beading, pearl detail, silver ornamentation, dyeing, and reconstruction, the studio builds works that are meant to be kept, studied, worn, and remembered.
Records Of All Works By Garlic Moon
The complete archive of available works, collector studies, and one of one creations currently held within the studio.
Where The Works Continue To Live
The Garlic Moon Circle is where the works continue to live through their keepers. Artists, musicians, collectors, and private keepers become part of the archive in sessions, and lived use.
Made Slowly Through Handwork
Hand embroidery, beading, found textiles, silverwork, pearl details, dyeing, and slow construction.
Some works remain in the archive. Some move outward through the Circle. All are made to carry time.
