A collector’s shirt shaped by time, born from a quiet photograph taken on an old walk through Fontainhas, Goa. Now rendered in thread, this piece transforms memory into wearable art.
The embroidered scene captures a resting dog, a pastel-framed figure, and potted plants basking in soft light, stitched slowly into unbleached handloom cotton, left in its natural hue. The shirt features full sleeves, classic cuffs, and a relaxed unisex fit.
Each button is cast from real silver, engraved with the Garlic Moon insignia and set in-house. The name Fontainhas is embroidered at the back, a nod to its origin. Inside, a discreet embroidered label marks its studio source.
This work is not reproduced. The original photograph will never be translated into textile again, making Fontainhas the sole physical interpretation of that moment.
